Yes similar situation isn't it. Are the company you booked with British ? and assume it is they who have issued the vouchers not the hotel ?

Can do but I wouldn't be surprised if they are not aware of the Greek/Italian issue with the EU. If that part of it is relevant of course.

I’ve got the same issue with a hotel that I booked. Hotel was closed and company I booked through has issued a voucher valid for a year and then will refund any money that’s not been used, if any. I’ve repeatedly told them I wanted a refund. Now going down the credit card route. Got to fill out a chargeback form and go from there.
